National Denim Day is tomorrow May 15, 2012
Businesses, organizations and institutions across Canada are encouraged to allow employees, members and/or students to wear denim and receive CURE’s ‘pink flower’ ribbon in exchange for a suggested $5 donation towards the fight against breast cancer.
Here are some great denim ideas for tomorrow that fall in line with one of the hottest trends of the season, coloured denim. What a great way to incorporate fashion and a fantastic cause!

Vacation season is just around the corner, and it’s time to start dreaming about lying on the beach and thinking about nothing. But before that, you should think about what to fill your wardrobe with to make the vacation season totally unforgettable. Below are some swimwear trends that I have noticed making their way into stores at WEM.
1. Sequins
Want to sparkle this summer?! If you love bright and sparkling clothes, you will love this shining swimwear. Sequins will be everywhere on the beach – and in all colours, complimented with beading, crystals, and embroidery.
This trend was spotted at Victoria’s Secret.
2. Retro
Retro is back! Cover your problem areas and feel comfortable in any situation, and still look amazing in a retro-inspired bikini or a one-piece suit.
This trend was spotted at Swimco.
3. Bandeau
Don’t want bikini strap tan lines, Bandeau bikini is the way to go. However, if you’re looking for support, the bandeau top cannot promise you this. This is a hot trend but be wise before you decide to wear it.

4. Prints
All kinds of prints will look amazing on swimwear this summer! Floral, wild, and tribal prints will be hotter than ever. Other great options are also python, leopard, stripes, and zigzags.
This trend was spotted at Victoria’s Secret.
5. Ruffles
Ruffles are being seen everywhere in West Edmonton Mall this season, which explains why there are so many of them in swimwear fashion. Ruffles add a playful look to an ordinary swimsuit. However, stay clear if you want to look slimmer, especially in the hip area.

The Angels Have Landed!
The annual “Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show” hit the airwaves on CBS last night. First down the runway, starting the show, was Candice Swanepoel, who visited West Edmonton Mall last year at the VS opening.
Later in the show, Miranda Kerr walked out showing off the $2.5-million fantasy bra. She looked amazing – not sure if it was the bra, or her amazing post-baby body!
With performances by Kanye West, Jay-Z, Maroon 5, & Nicki Minaj, the “Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show” didn’t miss a beat, providing great entertainment, sexy fashions, and heavenly bodies.

Michael Kors fashions hit the runway this morning for the Fall New York Fashion Week.
Hollywood stars like Catherine Zeta Jones, Michael Douglas, and Debra Messing came to NY fashion week specifically for his show.
Michael Kors is showing an array of neutrals this fall including various tones and textures of white, grey, brown, rose dust and black.
Cream Sequined tops matched with white shearling coats were paired together with beige wide leg trousers for women and long below-the-knee overcoats and all grey suites were shown for men.
