The highly anticipated movie The Hunger Games will be released this Friday, March 23, right here at Scotiabank Theatre. Based on the novel written by Suzanne Collins, The Hunger Games is set in a Panem, where all the power and freedom resides in the Capitol. The rest of the populace is divided into 12 suppressed districts that are forced to send one boy and one girl into the arena of The Hunger Games where they will fight to stay alive on live television, all for the Capitol’s enjoyment.
