New to Theatres July 13

With so many summer blockbusters already in theatre, it might seem like there isn’t room for any more but there are still some great movies coming, including Ice Age: Continental Drift which opens today. Click here for a full listing of and showtimes for what’s playing at Scotiabank Theatre.

The fourth instalment in the Ice Age series finds Manny (Ray Romano), Sid (John Leguizamo) and Diego (Denis Leary) in peril as Scrat triggers the break up of the Pangaea continent which separates them from their families. Manny, Sid and Diego must now travel on an ice raft, battle a pirate gang led by a giant ape and overcome every other challenge thrown at them to reunite with their families.

Although still a week away, The Dark Night Rises will surely be one of the biggest movies of this summer – if not all time. Check back next week for my preview but, if you’re like me and can’t wait, check out this trailer.
