With over 800 stores and services and 10 exciting attractions under one roof, you’ll want to make the most of your time here at West Edmonton Mall! With this in mind, we have two new ways to enhance your visit that work right on your mobile device – and they’re both free!
West Edmonton Mall’s official app is now available for download in the Apple App Store. Our app has everything you need from a Mall map, store directory, sales and promotions, information about attractions, hotels, movies, and even help remembering where you parked!
WEM is also the first Canadian venue to partner with Google to bring Android users indoor places on Google Maps! Use Google Maps 6.0 on your Android-powered devices to view detailed floor plans of the Mall that include all our stores, attractions, restaurants, and everything else you want to find in WEM! When a user accesses Google Maps on their Android device and zooms in to West Edmonton Mall, a detailed floor plan will appear on the map. Users can then browse floor plans and use the Google Maps My Location feature to see their detailed location inside the Mall, represented via the familiar “blue dot” icon. A tool on the right-hand side of the screen will also show the user which floor they are on, and automatically update the floor plan and labelled points of interest (such as stores and restaurants) when the user goes up or down a level. An Android version of our app is also in the works.
