River City Round up kicks off today and runs until November 13. This exciting event celebrates Edmonton’s agriculture and western heritage through a number of signature events put on by Northlands and other festivities taking place around town. Most people are usually restricted to business-appropriate attire, and most of the time this doesn’t include jeans. However, once a year, if you’re lucky, your company participates in the Be Seen in Jeans campaign! Companies and businesses can get buttons from United Way and sell them to employees for $10, entitling them to wear jeans during River City Round Up from November 4 to 13.
