Pulse – The Body Shop, Grand Opening

Spring is a great time to refresh your look and that’s exactly what The Body Shop did. Back in March, The Body Shop temporarily closed the doors of their shop to make way for an exciting new retail concept called Pulse. Opening today, The Body Shop welcomes all to a whole new experience-based store that allows shoppers to try products effortlessly and find their favourite products easily. Walking in, the new store is bright and fresh with white shelves and exposed white brick. The concept of the store is to allow shoppers to use all of their senses to try the product at their own pace. It’s a comfortable and inviting experience.

One of the new products I scoped out was the new Vitamin E Cool BB Cream. I love The Body Shop’s Vitamin E line and their BB cream so put it together and it’s a match made in Body Shop Heaven. How does this BB cream differ from others? Packed with Vitamin E, the cream provides even more moisture to keep your skin refreshed and cool throughout the day. As a BB Cream, It’s a lightweight formula that users of all skin types and tones can wear. It pairs well with the Vitamin E Cream Cleanser, Hydrating Toner and more!

There are so many great products at The Body Shop, it’s hard to call one my favourite. If you’re a Body Shop fan, check out their Grand Opening Week Celebration May 13 to 19 where they’re celebrating with free Satsuma Body Butters with a $25 purchase, complimentary makeovers with beauty experts and tons of other great in-store promos. Or visit this weekend to grab some fabulous last minute Mother’s Day gifts!

New Product Launch at EvelineCharles Salon|Spas|Beauty MD

EvelineCharles has recently launched two new hair care products that will take away the damage these brutal winter months have left on our hair.

Color Protect Luminous Complex is formulated for hair colour that is prone to fading, and will add brilliant shine while maintaining the integrity of the hair.

Nutrient Rich Reparative Complex helps to restore hair that is lacking inner strength. It nourishes extremely dry, brittle and damaged hair, leaving it soft and shiny.

EvelineCharles’ salon director, Cyndi Isaac, states, “Complexes are formulated to improve the integrity of the inner hair fibre. They are designed to be used once a week in conjunction with a mask or conditioner in order to treat the internal and external structures of the hair. You’ll notice a difference after the very first treatment and with regular use, a transformation.”
When asked what makes these products so effective, Isaac says, “EvelineCharles’ complexes are full of antioxidants and nutrients, so they add flexibility and elasticity to hair. The different formulas have been designed to address very specific hair types and challenges. ”

I was lucky enough to score both of these magic little bottles to try out on my own dry and colour treated locks and boy oh boy, even after one use I noticed a difference. My hair felt more hydrated, shiny, stronger, and less weighed down than it usually feels after I tried the Nutrient Rich Reparative Complex. I have fairly long hair, so I really liked that there was so much of the complex in one bottle. Sometimes with other hair care products like this one there is just not enough product per bottle and it leaves my hair not completely treated – but not this one! It was the perfect amount; I was able to really work the complex into the tips of my hair to where I really needed it. I am excited to test out the Color Protect Luminous Complex next week!

Remember only until February 15, if you book any hair service at EvelineCharles you too can get one of these liquid miracle complexes applied to your hair that same day! For full details view the blog post just below this posted on January 29, 2013.

A couple of the other style bloggers got to try out a few other newly packaged EC products. Amanda tried out the Specialty Jute Tea Tree Mint shampoo and conditioner and loved its refreshing and relaxing eucalyptus and antiseptic qualities especially when it came to the conditioner. She also found that her hair had more shine and was fresher for longer because of the extra clarifying benefits. Eliza tried the Specialty Crystal Clarifying Shampoo and noticed that she could eliminate having to pre-wash her hair to get the day’s product out of her hair, so it was extremely beneficial and efficient for her!

EvelineCharles has all of the products mentioned above available in store now.

A couple of weeks ago EvelineCharles Salons|Spas|Beauty MD announced the release of its exquisite 2012 Autumn|Winter Creative Collection. This season’s collection focuses on modern opulence: the evolution of classic, elegant looks. | Beauty | September 28, 2012 – Call Me BB

You’ve seen it in magazines, commercials and in-store. So what exactly is BB cream?

The secret of Blemish Balm (known in Asia to cover up blemishes and give you a flawless, porcelain complexion) has mades its way into North America. They’ve changed the formula to include more added benefits for an all-in-one Beauty Balm. BB creams can act as a primer, illuminator, oil controller, foundation, SPF booster, and sometimes even a concealer.

BB creams amazes me in that they come out of their tubes looking like a regular white cream. Smooth on your face and the tiny pigments of colour bust onto your skin. These pigments blend with your skin and even out your tone. For days when you’re on the go, but still want a fresh face without layers of makeup, BB cream is definitely the way to go.

1. The Body Shop All-In-One BB Cream: $20.

From summer to fall, I like to switch up my make up routine so I picked up The Body Shop’s All-In-One BB cream. I have seasonal dry skin and I feel this has been a great replacement to my summer tinted SPF moisturizer. It feels like a regular moisturizer with bursts of colour.

2. MAC Prep & Prime BB Cream SPF 35: $36.50.

For oily skin, this may be a winner. This cream has great priming qualities with a hint of colour. Leaves skin looking radiant.

3. Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream SPF 35: $50 (from Sephora).

For a thicker formula, try Smashbox’s Camera Ready BB Cream. It goes on silky smooth for extra moisture and good coverage for anybody running out the door.

4. Dr. Jart+ BB Beauty Balm: $36 (from Sephora).

Dr. Jart’s BB Beauty Balm may be another good one for combination and oily skin gals. It provides good coverage without looking gummy, provides a matte finish and provides an all around glow. This cream in particular is also SPF 40.

5. Maybelline Dream Fresh BB 8-1 Beauty Balm Skin Perfector: $9 (from London Drugs).

For those of you with dry skin (moi aussi!), this cream is great! It’s hydrating while still being quite lightweight and airy. It is ideal for those who don’t like the feel of foundation. Note: Not for those with oily skin.

Here Comes The Sun Care – June 22, 2012

Yesterday was a beautiful day and if it was any indication of what our summer is going to be like, be prepared! It’s been proven that sun damage is a huge cause of early aging in skin (among other skin problems). Protect yourself by incorporating sunscreen or a moisturizer with a high SPF to your makeup regimen. Sunscreen tends to have a bad rap, with some being thick and pasty, but there are some great products that will definitely save your skin in the long run. Make sure you shake this one up really well before use to get all that great stuff out for your skin.

In terms of moisturizers, if you haven’t switched your summer products, do it now. I use a richer cream during winter and a lighter moisturizer with SPF in the summer. When the sun gets really hot, smooth on another layer of sunscreen with a high SPF for extra protection. Particularly in the summertime, a daily application of SPF will help prevent early signs of aging and keep your skin healthy and glowing.

Here’s a list of favourites around the Mall to help you shop for what is right for your skin type and why it’s good for you.

1. B. Kamins Sunbar – For those oily skin types, B. Kamins Sunbar collection is great for you, especially if your skin is a little more sensitive. It comes in a variety of SPFs, including 30 and 48, and has a creamy texture that is great for the face. It absorbs well and dries quickly for makeup application. Murale, $45

2. Super Fluid UV Defense - With a high SPF, you’d think this sunscreen would be thick and pasty. Not the case with this Kiehl’s formula! It smoothes on like a moisturizer and doesn’t leave a film. For those who burn easily, this one is for you. Super Fluid contains Octocrylene, which absorbs UV molecules so they don’t get into your skin. I apply this after my moisturizer and underneath my makeup. A must-have for hotspot vacations! Kiehl’s, $36

3. Vitamin C Daily Moisturizer SPF 30- For those who use little to no makeup, don’t leave the house without an SPF moisturizer. The Vitamin C Daily Moisturizer with SPF 30 from The Body Shop is a great one to have. It hydrates your skin while protecting it from UV rays and contains Vitamin C which will boost your natural glow. Vitamin C boosts up collagen production and improves elasticity. Great overall product for the summer. The Body Shop, $20

4. Elizabeth Arden Prevage – For more advanced skin, Elizabeth Arden Prevage Triple Defense is great. Not only is it SPF 50 with an ultra lightweight formula, it also reduces the appearance of age spots, lines, wrinkles and sun damage. Murale, $95

5. Biotherm After Sun - You can protect yourself before exposure but what about after? Biotherm has an amazing after sun body milk that you smooth on after a day in the sun. It helps to relieve overheating and prevents dehydration of the skin. It’s jam packed with the essential Vitamins B5 and E to get your skin back to normal. Sephora, $35

6. Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protection Lotion SPF 50 – This lotion has a lightweight texture that works well for your face. It absorbs quickly and is extremely waterproof. It is great for pale to fair skin types. Sephora, $49

7. Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Sunscreen- As a trusted name for skin care, Neutrogena is a great go-to for sun protection. Their newest technology includes Helioplex which is a combination of Avobenzene (a popular UVA blocker) and Oxybenzone (a UVB absorber). The Neutrogena Dry Touch Sunblock features the Helioplex technology and is weightless, waterproof, and sweatproof. London Drugs, $11.99.

8. Nars Pure Radiance Tinted Moisturizer with SPF – I personally love a good tinted moisturizer. In the summer, I wear less makeup, preferring a tinted moisturizer and a powder mineral foundation. The Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 is a staple in my makeup bag. It contains Titanium Dioxide, which helps to form a protective layer on top of the skin to reflect UV rays. An added bonus is that it gives my skin just a smidge of colour and a light glow while moisturizing. It also helps with imperfections and has a nice, light fragrance. The Bay, $49

In addition to these fabulous products, I recently read an article from Dr. Oz who suggests eating more red, yellow and orange fruits and veggies in the summer. Lycopene is found in these bright-coloured foods and acts as a natural sunscreen for your skin. Lycopene-rich foods can help protect against sunburn, so load up on your tomatoes and bell peppers at your next barbecue!

Take care out there!

Summer Hair Styles at Hair de Moda – June 6, 2012

The spring, summer, and early fall months are notorious for weddings each year. The warm weather creates a beautiful atmosphere for couples to tie the knot in front of their closest family and friends. My hair styling techniques could use a little help which is why my friends at Hair de Moda  are a great place to go so you can leave it to the professionals. Whether you’re the bride, bridesmaid, or even a guest of one, or two, or three (I could go on and on) weddings this summer, Hair de Moda can create any hair style you have ever dreamed of. Here are just a few celeb hairstyle ideas to get you inspired. And best of all Hair de Moda is now offering a FREE hair cut when you get your hair coloured, plus 10% off all products from now until the end of August!

Down with soft curls
This look can work for long or shorter hair. Volume at the crown of the head creates more of a night time look and will be perfect no matter what part you play in this summer’s wedding festivities.

Half up
The half up hairstyle is great if you usually wear your hair down in your everyday life. It still gives you the comfort of having free flowing hair, but it also changes your overall appearance with a few strands pulled away from the face. Hair pinned back on both sides or even just one side can create a dramatic difference!

Updo
There are multiple ways to have your hair styled up this season. One is to have all of your hair piled onto the top of your head and into a tight but voluminous bun. This hairstyle works well with longer bangs because they can be pulled back as well. Another updo hairstyle worthy of a formal function is a low bun loosely pulled back with some strands left out to create texture and interest.

Hair de Moda can create any of these hairstyles plus thousands more just for you this wedding season. Remember to head down before August or maybe even a few times to get your FREE hair cut!

Kiehl’s: Product Review – June 1, 2012

My obsession with skincare grew with the opening of the newest Kiehl’s location in West Edmonton Mall. I was fortunate to be able to try out some of the amazing products they carry and if you’re at all curious about it, read on.

Living in Edmonton, my skin often feels defeated from the harsh dry climate. If you’re like me, you know what I mean. But fret not because Kiehl’s had the answer.

They set me up with a three product regiment to boost up the moisture in my skin and enhance its natural glow. The magic ingredient in all of these products is Squalane (you can Google it for more information) and it basically works as an emollient for your skin to increase hydration by repairing the barriers of your skin. The gals at Kiehl’s used this analogy – your skin is like a brick wall. Squalane is like the glue that keeps it all together.

I started off with the Ultra Facial Cleanser. Its gel-like consistency is anything but. It transforms into a gentle lather that goes on smooth. Once I rinsed, my skin was residue free and not dried out.

After that, I dabbed on the Ultra Facial Toner. I was quite surprised by the look of this particular toner as it was milky and creamy looking. (Note: A toner with alcohol is an astringent that is meant for oily skin. If you have skin like mine, stay away!). The toner has ingredients like Sweet Almond Oil and Kernel Oil which helps to moisturize the skin. It is also cool to the skin and is quite hydrating. Tip: If you’re short of time in the morning and want to look refreshed, dab the toner all over your face and you’re good to go.

To complete the regiment, I was recommended the Ultra Facial Cream for drier skin. This stuff was tested up in the coldest and driest conditions of the mountains. You would think something this moisturizing would be super thick but it was just the opposite. It was a creamy and almost yogurt-like consistency. I spread on just a little on my face and it was so light but absolutely did the trick. I woke up the next morning and found that my problem areas that I usually find dry were soft and smooth. I couldn’t help but rub my fingers over my cheeks. Amazing!

Visit Kiehl’s today and speak with one of the knowledgeable staff on hand. Ask for a one-on-one consultation and don’t forget to take a photo in the Kiehl’s custom photobooth!

Sunkissed – May 16, 2012

In Alberta, we are fortunate enough to have warm summers with a lot of sun (knock on wood!). But until that happens, we may need some help getting into the spring/summer mood by boosting up our skin for the upcoming season. I’ve searched around the Mall for you for some great bronzers and illuminators. Here’s what I found!

1. Let’s face it. After months of staying indoors, we could use a little color when it finally starts to heat up. Get a head start with the Honey Bronze collection from The Body Shop. From powder bronzer, face shimmer, and dry body oil, you’ll have the perfectly sunkissed skin in no time. It’s lightweight and illuminates the skin with a non-greasy formula. Where to get it: The Body Shop

2. For more gorgeous glow, sweep on Mac’s Extra Dimension Skinfinish to accentuate your cheekbones. A little goes a long way with this product and in three great shades, there is something for all skin tones. With metallic elements, it’s also a great highlighter for your eyes and can be applied to the lid and brow areas. Where to get it: Mac Cosmetics, $33.50.

3. You have probably seen it around but it’s popular for a reason. The Nars Illuminator is a product to help give you that sun kissed look without even stepping outside. You can use this as a bronzer to highlight your features or all over your face for a complete glow. Where to get it: The Bay, $36.00.

4. It’s a bit of an investment but Guerlain’s Terracotta bronzer is definitely worth every penny. Its velvety texture goes on smooth and doesn’t dry out the skin upon application. The multi-dimension mosaic compacts are fantastic, as it works with the different tones of your skin and enhances its natural glow with a slight shimmer. Where to get it: The Bay, $56.00.

5. A great tie-it-all-together product in your makeup collection is blush. Dior does it best with its luxe compact with two complimentary shades. You can wear the shades separately or together for extra va-va-voom. Where to get it: Sephora, $40.00 – $42.00.

6. Rimmel’s Natural Bronzer is what I like to call “an oldie, but a goodie”. It’s amazing for contouring your cheeks while giving it a sweep of colour. It’s a great all year round bronzer. Where to get it: London Drugs , $8.99.

7. As a spot highlighter, the Clinique Up-Lighting Liquid Illuminator is great for quick touch ups with a punch of colour. Dab on a small amount on the apples of your cheeks and you’re on your way. Blend its creamy texture with a good primer for ultimate staying power. Where to get it: Sephora, $31.50.

8. Finish off your skin with Bobbi Brown’s Shimmer Brick Compact for a soft glow. Apply after blush as it works best with peach and neutral shades. Its shimmering formula brings blush tones and picks up light to naturally enhance the beauty of your skin. It also doubles as an eye shadow. Where to get it: Murale , $49.00.

9. For an instant, all over pop of sun, try Lush’s Colour Supplement Base Colour. Mix a small amount with a good moisturizer and blend all over. It will give your skin a quick “just came from the beach” look. It also covers blemishes and imperfections. Colour Supplement comes in five different shades to perfectly match your complexion. Where to get it: Lush Cosmetics, $15.95.

Spring Hair Trends

April 3, 2012

Spring is in the air, and there is no better time to freshen up your hairdo. This season we are keeping things more natural transforming blondes from a golden hue to a cool ash, brightening brunettes and transforming dull red heads into a vibrant auburn.

Blonde Bombshell

Cooler tones are all the rage for spring 2012. Ask your colourist to work in a mixture of highlights and lowlights to create an all over multi-dimensional colour. It breaks up the hair and keeps you looking fresh. This is a great look for true blondes, because it almost universally complements all skin tones and eye colours.

Brilliant Brunette

The weather is warming and so should your hair colour. Lighten your locks by adding hints of cocoa, caramel, and golden undertones. Ask your stylist to create the look of naturally highlighted hair by keeping your ends light. No, I am not talking about Ombre (a.k.a. roots galore) I am talking about keeping things as natural as possible. By adding highlights throughout, your hair will look thicker, and perfectly sun-kissed for that beachy everyday style.

Ravishing Reds

Forget about looking natural, this seasons reds are BOLD. This vivid hue electrifies your mane but requires a lot of maintenance. This color is not for the faint of heart. Consult with your stylist before deciding on a hue, many stylists may ask you about your hair history as you could end up with some crazy colours if not coloured properly. Obviously this daring colour is not for everyone. If you’re interested in experimenting with a scarlet tone, ask your stylist to highlight your hair lighter and throw on red glaze to set the red you desire.

Where to: Get the Beauty Trends Straight From the Spring/Summer Runways

March 20, 2012

Makeup trends are strong for this season and there are so many different looks that you can achieve right here at WEM. Even if you are hesitant to try this on your own all the stores listed below will be happy to sit down with you and show you how to achieve these looks.

Bronzed Cheeks

Left and right: Michael Kors

This look creates a sun-kissed look without the harmful effects of the real sun. Peachy and rosy bronzers are applied to the areas of the face where the sun would naturally hit; your cheekbones, forehead and your nose. Find bronzers like this at Murale.

Long Lashes

Left and right: Louis Vuitton

Long fluttering lashes were all over the runways this spring. This look is so versatile because you could wear long thick lashes with minimal eye and lip makeup or an ultra smoky eye and dramatic lip, either way long thick lashes are a must this spring and summer. This look can be created in a couple of different ways. Apply two or three coats of black mascara or apply false eyelashes but still put mascara on so that your eyelashes and the false ones join together. Sephora is a great place to get supplies for all your eyelash needs!

Thick brows are back this season! Groomed, structured and penciled in, these brows make a statement. First you need a good shape which you can achieve by coming to many of the beauty salons at WEM. Merle Norman Cosmetics has the second and third item you will need, a brow pencil and lastly a brow sealer which will keep your eyebrow hair and colour just the way you like it all day long.

FALL ’11 HAIR TRENDS

Long Hair

The Deep Sweep
The simple side part—kick it up a notch! Go deep with a deep sweep part. This simple and easy ‘do is great for work and on-the-go ladies. The sweep is youthful yet mysterious and works with a classic low bun or au natural. It helps to give movement to your mane and adds volume to your locks.

Trick or Treat
Do you have long hair and want a change without the permanent snip-snip? Try a faux bob and be the biggest trickster on the block. It’s a great way to shock your friends and acts as a fix to treat the change you crave. It’s perfect for layered locks as you can work with your short pieces and tuck everything else in.

Short Hair

The Pixies
If you’re going to go short, go all the way! I have never had the courage to do it but Emma Watson had it right all along with her ultra-mod pixie cut. Celebs all around followed suit with the chop and are adding their own twist— Evan Rachel Wood, Ashley Simpson, and Ginnifer Goodwin all rocked it out with their glam-chic style. While a pixie cut can be super low maintenance, it’s also uber sophisticated and will make you fearless in the boardroom. To make it your own, play with bangs and color tones for a multi-dimensional look.

Accessorize Your Mane

While colour is a great hair booster, try something less permanent with more pizzazz. If the summer was all about the feathers, the fall is filled with metallic and jewelled accessories. Add a little sparkle to your hair with bejewelled headbands . Or use your own hair to create fuzzy braids and funky twists to give it bold texture and great life.

Colour

Blonde Manes – Brighten it up with a lush buttery hue to make up for the shorter sunshiney days. Afraid of being washed out? Pump up your makeup just a smidge to bring everything to life.
Brunettes – Try a rich chestnut brown to stop on-lookers dead in their tracks and awe at your je ne sais quoi. For a combo of both, ditch the highlights and bring the two-toned look to a whole new level. Start your roots off dark and do a dramatic 360 to the tip. Play with different shades to match your personality.
Redheads – Stick with a firey copper red to accent the hot metallic trend. This hue boosts up the natural reds and gives it new punch. Play around with blue metallic eye shadows for fantastic contrast.

Hair Care

With the chill in the air, it is important to get ahead of the game and prevent dry hair before it starts. Stock up on really good quality hair products and use them regularly. Hair products that you would use in the summer are not necessarily the same as the ones for the winter. In our dry climate, products with natural oils, including jojoba oil, olive oil, and others, are great way to protect hair from drying out. To prevent static, change your conditioner to a richer blend with silk proteins and invest in a great spray-in treatment. Always use a heat protector spray before applying any heat to your hair to lock in moisture.

Believe it or not, what you eat can totally affect your hair. Hair is a protein fibre so load up on iron-rich foods to help maintain strong locks— whole grains, green vegetables, and red meat.

Adding a deep conditioning treatment the next time you’re at the salon is definitely a great start (the head massage that comes with it isn’t so bad either). Depending on your hair type, your stylist will choose the appropriate mixture for you. Talk to your stylist for more information on how to winter-proof your hair.

JENNIFER ANISTON, THE FRAGRANCE, AVAILABLE ONLY AT SEPHORA

I have always loved Jennifer Aniston, ever since her days on Friends. When I heard about her new perfume, Jennifer Aniston by Jennifer Aniston, I was excited to see if I could really smell like Jen!

Jennifer Aniston’s most beloved scents— night-blooming jasmine, wild violets, and Amazon lily — open the fragrance. Its warm finish of sensual musk, golden amber, and sandalwood is inspired by the smell of wood fires at Jennifer’s friends’ houses on summer evenings. These wonderfully fragrant ingredients are topped off with the freshness of citrus grove and rose water, creating a unique combination that you can’t find anywhere else.

When I sprayed Jennifer Aniston, By Jennifer Aniston on my wrist, the fragrance, mixed with my skin, revealed a light and clean aroma, with just a hint of floral and sandalwood. It is very subtle, which I like; it might be a little too subtle for people looking for an overpowering fragrance, but it was the perfect amount for me!

Available exclusively at Sephora.

WEDDING HAIR STYLE

I am usually glued to the television screen during Hollywood’s award season, especially the red carpet! I can’t get enough of the red carpet fashion. Admiring all the beautiful dresses, hair styles and makeup got me thinking about my wedding — with it only four months to go it seems everything reminds me of it. I am still unsure of my wedding hairstyle, but here are a few celebrity styles that I was inspired from:

French Twist
Mila Kunis at the Golden Globes with an elaborate French twist. Giving her tresses some volume in the front, the style was balanced with a sleek pulled back twist in the back. This classic elegant style seems to be very popular lately with more celebrities showing it off. This style would be a great way to add a classic look to my wedding ensemble.

Romantic Curls
One of Anne Hathaway’s seven hair styles at the Oscars was Romantic Curls; she never ceases to amaze me with her red carpet looks and this one was no exception. While I was leaning towards more of a pulled back look, I think this would be a great alternative if you wanted a swept-away romantic style.

60’s Hair
Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon both showed off ‘60s glamour at the Oscars. They both styled retro ponytails with major volume at the crown. Kidman’s teased version was the subtler of the two, looking more like a playful ponytail. Witherspoon’s cascading high pony was glamorous, yet retro and fun. These hairstyles might be to “big” for me — but then again it’s my day to shine…

Undone Tresses
Natalie Portman at the Oscars embraced a more natural, relaxed hair look; it seems more celebrities opted for undone, tousled tresses that were perfectly imperfect. This would be the perfect hair for a beach wedding. I may not be getting married on a beach, but I think I could definitely pull this style off. The elegance of my dress could take this hair to the next level.

Now it’s time to really decide how I want to fashion my hair on my big day. One thing that makes this decision a bit easier are the many hair salons and amazing stylists that can be found right here at West Edmonton Mall, I know with their help, any look I choose will be perfect.

DEL SOL – JUST ADD SUNSHINE

I was walking near World Waterpark, daydreaming about the warm weather we all hope is around the corner, when I was suddenly intrigued by the sunshine logo on the store Del Sol. This store is so cool! All their products, everything from hair clips to board shorts, changes colour in the sun — as an example, they go from green to neon pink as soon as the sun hits you. The staff can even show you the colour change immediately right in the store under their UV lights.

One of their products I was most intrigued with was their nail polish. With spring getting closer and closer, now is the time to get up-to-date with all your beauty needs… including your nails!

They have so many different nail polish combinations. They even carry some that look great at night with the application colour showing. When you’re getting tired of that colour, head outside during the day and it’s a totally different colour, two colours in one! Amazing!

You won’t find this kind of product anywhere else in Alberta. Del Sol is the world’s largest retailer of merchandise that changes color in the sun. It‘s perfect for making lasting memories out in the sunshine! Take it from me, this spring and summer, Del Sol is not a store you’re going to want to miss!
